Becca Thorn became the General Manager for 91.1 The Junction in January of 2025. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for broadcasting. With a Bachelor of Science in Communications: Broadcasting and Electronic Media from Appalachian State University, she has cultivated a deep understanding of radio operations and audience engagement. Her journey began as a student at 90.5 WASU: The App, where she served as both News Director and Music Director, honing her leadership and technical skills in a hands-on environment.
Her broad experience in both broadcasting and business makes her a dynamic leader at 91.1 The Junction, poised to take the station to new heights. With a passion for storytelling, team collaboration, and audience connection, she is excited to continue shaping the station's future, creating a vibrant and engaging space for music and news in the community.
